Striking vintage Chinoiserie console table featuring a black lacquer finish with intricate hand-painted floral, scroll, and geometric detailing in gold, red, and muted green tones. The elongated silhouette is elevated by beautifully shaped cabriole-style legs, pierced decorative apron work, and raised scroll ends that give the piece a dramatic gallery-like presence.
The top displays beautiful age-related lacquer checking and light patina throughout, consistent with vintage lacquered wood. There are a couple of older stabilized seam lines within the decorative fretwork, but they do not appear structural; the table stands well and supports weight.
A statement piece for an entryway, hallway, living room, boutique interior, or layered eclectic space.
