~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A striking antique revival student-style table lamp with a warm amber glass shade, clear glass chimney, aged brass hardware, and a richly toned turned wood base. The lamp has the presence of a late 19th-century oil or kerosene desk lamp, but appears to be an electric decorative revival piece, likely from the 1960s–1980s.
The glowing amber shade is the standout feature, with a softly flared form and ruffled rim that creates a beautiful golden atmosphere when illuminated. The side-arm construction, perforated burner-style gallery, metal support frame, cylindrical wood column, and built-in pen/inkwell-style base give it a scholarly library, study, or collector’s cabinet feel.
A refined statement lamp for traditional, Victorian revival, English library, antique-inspired, or eclectic interiors.
Height: 25” to top of glass chimney
Condition: Good vintage condition with light age-appropriate patina to the brass/metal and wood. Amber glass presents beautifully when lit. Fully functional.
