A rare antique circa 1920s Jacobean Revival bobbin nesting table suite, featuring a larger host table with four individual folding side tables that slide neatly into dedicated wooden rails beneath the top.
This highly decorative set showcases turned bobbin legs, carved foliate corner details, shaped tabletops, rich dark wood patina, and a wonderfully architectural silhouette. Each of the four smaller side tables folds flat for storage and opens into a cross-form base, making the suite both sculptural and highly functional.
The underside shows period construction details including wooden slide rails, slotted screws, aged wood surfaces, and original handwritten workshop or inventory markings, consistent with early 20th-century manufacture. A beautiful and unusual piece for collectors of antique English-style furniture, Jacobean Revival design, Tudor Revival interiors, or layered maximalist spaces.
Perfect as occasional tables, cocktail tables, side tables, plant stands, or as a statement accent in a living room, library, entry, or design-forward interior.
